Summer 2013

Looking back on the past few months, it’s hard to imagine how much has happened: In the midst of our ongoing response to Hyperstorm Sandy, we tripled the size of our offices, and worked hard at surpassing all the targets that were set for us—prior to the disaster—by The Robin Hood Foundation, which came on board as our biggest funder late last summer. This eNews will give you some details about several of our recent activities.
Further, as the first anniversary of Hyperstorm Sandy approaches, we have decided, once again, to use our Fall Friendraiser on October 25 as an occasion to review what’s been accomplished and what we’re still doing to help people in the flood zones. We’re going to be at the iconic Bowery Terrace for another event in our usual high-energy, fun-loving style. Please save the date.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Thank you for your continued support!
Best Regards,
Swami Durga Das
Executive Director
